Career Development Company with grassroots in Oakland and Wayne County Michigan will host a series of Career Fairs and Business Opportunity Expo events with a mission to employ thousands of jobseekers.

Empowering Michigan Career Expo will take place on October 30, 2009 for 9:00am-3:00pm at the Doubletree Hotel-Detroit 5801 Southfield Service Dr., Detroit, Michigan

Caree Eason, Executive Director of Expo Giant.com has made a pledge to Michiganders to connect unemployed workers with hiring employers and business professionals with networking professionals. Now is the time to address the needs of local business owners and job seekers in Michigan by hosting community events that promote career and business development.

The event is free to the public and will offer attendees and opportunity to visit with business representatives about job openings and business opportunities. Businesses interested in registering for a booth should contact Expo Giant.com at (734-956-4550). Attendees should dress for success and bring lots of copies of their resumes. Reviewers will be available to look over participants’ resumes and make suggestions to improve them. “Recently we have noticed that many job seekers do not have a professional resume; we want to help job seekers by providing a professional resume that we grab the attention of hiring employers” said Executive Director of Expo Giant.com

Don’t be embarrassed I understand that during a difficult economy it can be hard to obtain interview appropriate clothing. Remain positive in your job search I am sure you will find employment soon. Across American millions of job seekers struggle with the question of what to wear to a job fair or interview often times you think that dress for success means wearing a designer suit or expensive shoes. No!!! Dress for success means to avoid wearing jeans or gym shoes instead business casual clothing such as slacks, khaki pants, button-up shirt, tie and simple shoes.
