“Spring Job Fair and Business Opportunity Expo will Flourish with Hiring Companies”

Expo Giant.com Oakland and Wayne Counties largest expo event host is planning a series of ten Job Fair and Business Opportunity Expo events with a mission to employ thousands of jobseekers in 2010.

The next “Empowering Michigan Career Expo” will take place on Friday, April 30, 2010 for 9:00am-3:00pm at the Holiday Inn Hotel 2537 Rochester Court, Troy, Michigan. Several local companies will be present and ready to interview and discuss hiring opportunities.

Representatives from the Unemployment Insurance Agency will be available to answer basic questions about unemployment and the extensions that are available.
As part of the Buy Michigan First initiative, the Michigan Department of Management and Budget (DMB) will be on site to encourage Michigan businesses to register as vendors and bid on more than 1,100 multi year contracts worth billions of dollars. Information regarding free seminars to guide business owners in bidding and obtaining contracts with the State will be available to expo attendees.

With nearly 16 million Americans out of work and tending tirelessly to their job searches, some candidates have put their job search into over drive attending multiple job fairs monthly. This is the time to revamp your resume, learn how to market your skills and aggressive seek employment. The Empowering Michigan Career Expo event is free to the public and will offer attendees and opportunity to visit with business representatives about job openings and business opportunities. Businesses interested in registering for a booth should contact Expo Giant.com at (734-956-4550). Attendees should dress for success and bring lots of copies of their resumes.
