The Home Furnishings Consultants are responsible for selling (on a commissioned basis) merchandise, extra income items, and services to new or established customers. Home Furnishing Consultants most often work a 5 day week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. High School Diploma
Prior Sales Experience Preferred

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the daily operations for the store. Assistant Managers are responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling Home Furnishing Consultants.  Assistant Managers also maintain the showroom floor presentation, and drive extra income through Stainsafe, EPP and CPP sales.  Assistant Managers conduct weekly coaching sessions with each Home Furnishing Consultant.   • College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 3-5 years min. management experience, preferably retail environment
The Furniture Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering (includes driving and physically moving furniture) of the merchandise from the store to the customers in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner all while providing excellent customer service.  Delivery Drivers must load delivery truck according to load list and verify piece count with the Warehouse Leader.  All Delivery Drivers must have current and clean MVR and driver license records.  Value City Furniture is an equal opportunity employer.
