F. Lax Construction is a General Contractor with specializing Insurance Restoration, Real Estate Preservation and Remodeling, and Barrier Free Services.  Founded in 1946, we offer over six decades of contracting experience to service our diverse client base. 

We are full service contractor that can service and restore properties affected by devastation caused by fire, water, tornado and all natural or man-made disasters. As an emergency response-based company we provide a 24-hour emergency restoration response to over 13 counties in Southeastern and the Greater Grand Rapids area. When faced with fire, water, smoke, or wind damage, the trained and experienced technical staff of will bring their experience mitigation and restoration solutions right to the door.  We are full service from mitigation, cleaning, personal property, structure restoration and remodeling. 
  
We provide rehabilitation, preservation, and maintenance services to major national banks and mortgage companies for their Real Estate Owned properties.  Providing comprehensive and timely estimates for safety and security, marketing, and lender required repairs.  We preserve, protect and improve the properties helping maintain the brokers’ and banks’ interest so they sell quickly and for a greater value.

With our Barrier Free division, we enable the physically challenged individuals to have the full functionality in their homes.  We have architects and occupational therapist on staff to tailor your home or rental property exactly to the client’s specific needs and meet the stringent regulatory requirements.
