Hiring Restaurant General Manager in Ortonville, Michigan
All manager candidates must have experience with both the FOH and BOH areas of the restaurant in a food & bar atmosphere. Daily duties are to include Social Media and Marketing along with creating new ways to build business and bring in new customers to continue growth within the restaurant.
Managers must have sports knowledge as our restaurant is a family owned sports bar & grill with an outdoor deck and Tiki Bar overlooking a lake in the Ortonville area. We are also looking for someone that is fluent on the computer, including Microsoft Office, Excel and preferably Digital Dining computer systems.
All General Manager Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years GM Management experience presently or formally in a corporate type Atmosphere.
Manager must be capable of creating and implementing his/her own inventory systems that include kitchen and bar inventories weekly in order to provide those numbers in weekly meetings held with the owner.
Manager will also be in charge of staffing, hiring and training of servers and bartenders to increase guest checks by motivating through incentives not harsh and threatening tactics. We are not looking for a bully or an overly lenient person that allows staff to walk all over them.
We are none corporate so all candidates must be self motivated and self starters capable of running the restaurant as if it were their own business. References and background checks are a must.
Salary based on experience, college education and organization skills. Paid vacations and bonus available after 6 month evaluation of job productivity!
