Online Marketing / Communications Specialist - Oak Park, Michigan

Summary
The Online Marketing/Communications Specialist works with our marketing team to create, manage, and improve our online communications with our clients.  We have a high energy and high output department that is heavily focused on creating in depth html emails, website content, surveys, improvements to our smart phone apps, as well as designing materials meant for print or pdf output.  Managing the information that comes from various sources, and translating that into effective communications is the key to success in this entry level position.  Our marketing department is well integrated into our core business, and is it critical that candidates have a passion for creating marketing that results in increased sales, and a desire to learn about and positively impact the “business” side of marketing.

Requirements
1.    Education: Some College
2.    Experience: One to four years in creating html content
3.    Proficiency in html, including websites and emails. Adobe CS4 or higher (Dreamweaver, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Computer literacy including MS Office.
4.    Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff in writing, on the phone, and in person.
5.    Ability to help guide process change to take advantage of the most effective programs and technology available.
